Germany: 15-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped, Sexually Assaulted by Men With ‘Arabic Accents’
German authorities have launched an investigation after a 15-year-old girl was abducted in broad daylight and sexually assaulted by men with ‘Arabic accents’ last week.
The chilling incident unfolded at around noon on Wednesday in Gelsenkirchen, a city in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The young girl was waiting for a friend at a bus stop when a van pulled up and two men jumped out, forced her inside, and sped away.
“After a long drive, the young woman was first sexually assaulted by the two men in a house in an unknown location before the two unknown men let her out of the car after another drive in Essen on Hollestrasse,” Gelsenkirchen Police explained in a press release.
“The two men were dressed in black and also wore balaclavas. Both spoke German with an Arabic accent.”
The suspects eventually released the girl more than seven hours after kidnapping her, and she immediately contacted police.
Authorities are searching for clues and witnesses but no suspects have been apprehended, according to the latest available updates.
