ICE Arrests Thrice-Deported MS-13 Gangbanger Wanted for Murder in El Salvador
A known MS-13 gang member with three prior deportations who is wanted for murder in his home country of El Salvador was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Massachusetts this week.
The 44-year-old Salvadoran fugitive was apprehended by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) agents in Foxboro on February 19.
He has illegally entered the United States at least four times since 2001, and is now facing his fourth deportation.
In March of 2001, the Salvadoran was caught in New York after illegally entering via the Canadian border.
The Salvadoran ignored a notice to appear at an immigration hearing and a federal judge ordered him removed in absentia in March of 2002, but he remained on the loose in the U.S. until he was deported by ICE in January of 2007.
He was caught in Texas after illegally reentering the U.S. in 2010 and removed again two months later.
“After unlawfully entering the United States a third time, he was again arrested by USBP in Edinburg, Texas, in September 2012. USBP again reinstated his prior removal order,” ICE explained in a press release.
“ERO Harlingen removed him from the United States in October 2012.”
The Salvadoran illegally entered the U.S. again on an unknown date at an unknown location and remained in the country until he was apprehended this month.
Authorities continue to catch dangerous foreign criminals illegally present in the U.S.
Weeks ago, another MS-13 gangbanger from El Salvador with multiple convictions for sex crimes in the U.S. was arrested in Riverdale, Maryland.
Earlier this month, a Honduran gang member with a lengthy rap sheet and six prior deportations was caught illegally crossing the Canadian border into Vermont.
Days prior, ICE arrested a previously-deported child rapist in Massachusetts who had illegally returned to the U.S. around 10 years ago and was convicted of another sex crime in 2015.
Last month, Texas troopers arrested a human smuggler wanted for murder in Mexico.
Also in January, an illegal alien from Brazil who was released into the U.S. under Joe Biden was deported to face rape charges in his homeland.
