WATCH: Smuggler Caught With Dozens of Illegals Packed Inside Horse Trailer

Authorities caught a human smuggling suspect transporting dozens of illegal aliens inside a scorching hot horse trailer in Texas over the weekend.
The bust unfolded on Friday night in Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley.
A Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) trooper pulled over a suspicious truck towing a trailer on US-281.
The driver initially claimed there were two horses in the trailer and consented to a search.
Footage released by TxDPS shows the moment the trooper discovered 27 illegals hiding within an unventilated storage area.

The driver, identified as Texas resident Jose Guadalupe Salinas, was taken into custody by U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) and is expected to face federal charges for smuggling of persons with likelihood of serious bodily injury or death.
