An Afghan who gang-raped a 14-year-old girl was granted police protection due to concerns for his safety after another teen girl was murdered by a migrant in the same village in Germany this month, according to reports.

Authorities say they are worried about "possible public discontent" regarding 'refugees' following the unprovoked stabbing of two teen girls near an asylum home in the town of Illerkirchberg on December 5 that left a 14-year-old girl dead.

A 27-year-old Eritrean male was arrested for the bloody slaying as officials warned local residents not to blame “asylum seekers in general.”

Some 2,000 people reportedly turned out for the burial of the young victim, identified as Ece S. in German media.

On the day of the funeral, police officers were dispatched to guard a 29-year-old Afghan male who lives in Illerkirchberg, despite being convicted in the 2019 gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in the same town, Bild reports.

Mukthar N. was reportedly sentenced to 26 months in prison for drugging and raping the young victim, along with three other 'asylum seekers' from Afghanistan and Iraq.

He was also ordered deported at the end of his prison term. However, federal officials reportedly cited dangerous conditions posed by the Taliban in Afghanistan as reason to keep him in Germany.

Incredibly, he was resettled back in Illerkirchberg without notice to the public, even though police have warned he poses a "high risk potential for committing further sexual offenses against unknown young women."

"One can hardly find words for this state failure: an Afghan child molester released from prison receives police protection at taxpayer's expense so that he can live again in Illerkirchberg, where he and his Afghan accomplices raped a 14-year-old girl," asserted Georg Pazderski, a former parliamentary group leader for the AfD party in the Berlin House of Representatives.

The rapist was obligated to report to the town hall daily, a condition which he apparently violated without consequence.

"After the murder of Ece S. by the Eritrean, the police feared that the mood against the asylum seekers in Illerkirchberg could change. So they warned the 29-year-old about the displeasure of the population and guarded the home," Junge Freiheit reports.

Mukthar H. has since gone into hiding and his whereabouts are unknown to the public.
