Suspected Illegal Alien Killed Crossing Highway in El Paso
A person who was fatally struck this week while crossing a major highway in El Paso was a “suspected migrant” fleeing Border Patrol, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday night in West El Paso, Texas.
A pedestrian was hit by a big rig on the busy interstate, leading to a road closure for several hours, KTSM reports.
“On Monday, Oct. 16, at approximately 10:20 p.m., a suspected migrant was hit by a semi-truck when the migrant attempted to across Interstate 10 in West El Paso,” a Border Patrol spokesman explained in a statement.
“This occurred after a group of migrants attempted to evade U.S. Border Patrol Agents between Loop 375 and Interstate 10.”
The person was found dead by emergency responders, KVIA reports.
Illegal aliens and smugglers frequently wreak havoc on Texas roads, as InfoWars has previously reported.
In December, a young illegal alien from Mexico was hit by a car while running across a highway in El Paso.
Last year, an illegal migrant was struck and killed while fleeing police during a bailout in South Texas.
