Underage illegal aliens and their teenage smuggling guide were apprehended after they broke into a home in South Texas near the Mexican border, authorities say.

On Tuesday, Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers and U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents tracked a group of illegals to a residence in La Joya, a city in the Rio Grande Valley.

TxDPS released footage of the joint operation on social media.

Troopers and agents swarmed the house and found five illegals and a Mexican smuggler — who presumably was also in the U.S. illegally — hiding in the bathroom.

“Among the 5, from Mexico, Guatemala, & Nicaragua, included a 14 & 16-year-old,” TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez explained in a statement.

“A 17-year-old smuggling guide from Mexico was arrested for human smuggling.”

All six of the suspects appear to be young males, according to photos shared by TxDPS.

It is unclear if the residence was inhabited at the time of the break-in.

Lt. Olivarez shared footage from another smuggling bust that unfolded in South Texas over the weekend.

Illegal aliens and a smuggler bailed out of a vehicle during a high-speed chase and were able to avoid apprehension by hiding among houses in a residential neighborhood in Webb County.
